Finding online continuing education
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008
You have decided to bite the bullet and pursue continuing education to get ahead in the job field. You have weighed the pros and cons in your head over and over again and have decided that you want to smash through the proverbial glass ceiling and take your career to heights you never thought possible.
The problem? You cannot afford to take the time off from your work and family committments to pursue your continuing education dreams. Classes in the evening are usually several hours long and you cannot take classes during the day.
Colleges have noted your complaints and are beginning to offer degree programs for all types of life situations, including online continuing education programs. These programs are just like any other sort of educational program and many are even accredited by the same accreditation boards that accredit more run of the mill degree programs. (more…)
So you have decided that it would probably be a good decision to pursue some sort of continuing education. You have not decided if you are going to take just a few courses or pursue an all-out degree soon. The one thing you do know for sure is that it will cost you money in your ever increasing tight budget.
You have heard of all the promises that your guidance counselors and teachers have made speaking about what will happen once you get a college education. The way they make it seem, cash will be falling at your feet and you will achieve all of your fantastic dreams.
