Don’t just use your skills - teach them

Some people say you are a smart-alek. Other people swear by your knowledge and always ask you to share your knowledge. You like teaching and helping individuals, so why not let them in on what you know?You never really did think about becoming a teacher, but as you get older and older and your knowledge in your chosen field continues to expand, you are starting to feel the need to teach others about what you know and how they can become experts in the field like you are.
No matter what your area, your knowledge can be invaluable to others who want to know more about it. But you do not have to start teaching college courses or go back to school to earn a teaching certificate to start sharing what you know with others.Instead, look into teaching some continuing education courses to share your wealth of knowledge and expertise with others. Continuing education courses are a great way for teachers to share what they know with students who are generally interested in the subject matter. (more…)
