Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Nowadays more and more people use the advantages of the personal loans, credit cards and other products of the banks and lenders. But those people, who have several debts, can collide with the problem of nonpayment. To make the repayment process simpler, the clients of the banks can use the advantages of the debt consolidation. In contemporary world the people have many expenses and they must have enough savings. But for majority of the citizens the only way to make big purchases is to apply for the receiving of the personal loan. The thing is that the debts must be repaid. Besides the debts itself there are also interest rates and different types of fees, such as annual fee, introduction fee, penalties in the case of late payment or nonpayment. The consolidation of the debts is wonderful method to save the money. The consolidation means the integration of the debts into one debt with the aim to make it more manageable. In the case of consolidation the interest rates are lower and they are fixed and so the clients feel themselves more confident. Those people who have consolidated their debts have to use and manage their money wisely. Those people who want to avoid the financial problems must have such personal features as responsibility, discipline and confidence. Besides, the clients have to avoid huge spending during the venture periods, such as beginning of the studying year and week before Christmas. If the clients will manage their money in a proper way and will keep all the rules, they have chance to improve their credit score and receive the advantages and bonuses in the case of the application for loans or credit cards. Those people who want to have money, to buy everything they need and want, have to know three rules: money saving, payment in time and rule keeping.

Consolidation in Student Loan

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Sometimes you find yourself in the type of situation where you will need to find a student loan consolidator. Tuition advances loom over anyone who has ever gone to college. Federal funding and Pell grants only take students so far. Scholarships may have also been offered, but most of us have at least one or two advances. The game for tuition advances is going with the financial aid with the best interest rate for the year, in the hope that we will have a lower repayment after school. This has caused issues in the past, as the amounts repaid to each advance can be higher than sticking with the same company throughout school.

It is easier than you think to find a student loan consolidator. In fact you often receive calls and mail from these people and companies even before graduation. Some of these companies will offer to help merge all of your advances into one easy monthly payment for a set interest rate. This can be great, but you should consider your other alternative first. Tuition advance companies also offer merging services for after graduation.

You may find that to keep your advance, they will offer to take over the other advances for the same interest rate. This can be helpful when you are trying to find the right student loan consolidators.

Also don’t just go with the first company that calls or offers a deal. Check with other companies to get a basis for the going interest rates. You may find that they are all fairly similar and one has a better repayment option. In some cases you may find that other companies have higher interest rates and horrible repayment options. The only way to find the best deal and maybe even counter with the company you like best is to have some ground work done before actually signing on the line for student loan consolidators.

Practicing is Much Better Than Just Listening

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

I’ve met several persons who have told me they’d love to learn a foreign language — particularly English. When I hear them say that, sometimes I ask them to practice with me (having a conversation in that language), and 90% of the times they refuse to do so, replying with ”It’s embarrassing!”.

I understand them, because I have too felt embarrassed many times, but about a couple of years ago, I learned the lesson.

Someday, I was chatting with one of my best friends, Martin, who lives in Canada. Chatting with him (in English) was something usual, but then, he asked me if I had a microphone. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I told him I did have one. He asked me if I wanted to have a voice conversation with him. Again, fortunately (or unfortunately) I replied yes.

Even though our chat conversations were fluent and natural, it seemed it was a whole different story with voice conversations. My responses got reduced to shy laughs, yesses and noes.

After several sessions of voice conversations with my friend, I noticed I was getting better, and not just that, but I was speaking with a wider vocabulary. I’ll explain this.

When I chat with someone, I usually try to use a minimal vocabulary, as I don’t want to waste my precious finger’s energy (he he he). But when I have to use my voice to communicate, it’s a different story, as it’s far more easier. So, this means if you speak the language instead of writing it, you’ll be most likely using a wider vocabulary. And the most interesting part is you’ll not just be using it, but getting used to it.

When I began learning German, I liked to learn up to 100 words per day, and I was happy because I was starting to be able to understand somewhat some German articles. But after around a week (that would be 700 words learned), I tried to write some phrases in German and noticed it was really hard for me to do so. I opened my German course book, and there wasn’t any problem at remembering the words, I knew their meaning, but just couldn’t make any sentences.

Now I understand that when you’re starting to learn a foreign language, you need to speak it, not just memorize words and/or understand its grammar. If you learn that “le chat est blanc” means “the cat is white” in French, try to practice that phrase and its components all you can. Don’t just leave all that learning floating in your brain!

Also, don’t be shy, and if you find an opportunity to practice what you know, practice it!
